Project description
Under the DIMOP_PLUSZ-1.1.2/A-24 call, ARGOMEX Ltd. is developing a two-pillar, artificial-intelligence (AI) solution. The system digitalises and automates construction-industry quoting and procurement. Each AI module is specialised for a well-defined task, so it can operate with minimal human intervention, high accuracy and a low error rate.
Quotation AI system
Website chatbot: a two-way system with construction-industry expertise. It receives quote requests, clarifies technical needs with targeted questions, and gives professional advice (for example on materials and exposed-concrete types). Where needed it books a human consultation and forwards the data in a structured form.
Email-review AI: using natural language processing it recognises quote requests arriving by email. It extracts technical parameters (including from attached drawings) and, if data is missing, requests it from the customer on its own.
Quote-preparation AI: it analyses the project’s resource and material needs according to the specifics of exposed-concrete production. Based on the cost structure and predefined rules it prepares a price calculation, saves the quote in the CRM system, and forwards it for engineering approval.
Procurement-manager AI
The module checks warehouse stock and, using recorded supplier prices, proposes where to buy. It automatically looks up prices of missing items in supplier APIs, price lists and webshops. Where needed it researches and verifies new suppliers in company databases, sends a request-for-quote, then compiles an order plan with a cost list.
As a result, ARGOMEX Ltd.’s request, quotation and procurement processes become substantially faster and more efficient, administrative burden decreases, and customers receive answers more quickly. The system can be connected to the company’s CRM. The firm also intends to sell the construction-specific AI solution to external partners, opening a new market segment and increasing international revenue.
The project was implemented with the support of the European Union, co-financed by the Hungarian State.

The energy upgrade of the Argomex Ltd. site was successfully awarded under project GINOP-4.1.4-19-2020-03092. The grant made fine-concrete element production possible in winter as well in a 540 m² manufacturing hall. Modern, well-insulated windows and doors and wall and roof insulation meeting thermal requirements keep the right operating temperature at low heating-energy use. Solar panels support the site’s overall electricity management and reduce natural-gas consumption. The completed energy upgrade helps strengthen market presence and sustainable development.
